Does that mean the book won't be available for purchase until 2006? What a long time to wait, I wonder why it's on Amazon and it's only 2004? But I'm glad to see she is finally publishing a book on dp. It's long overdue. Now we can hope the dp folks in London will follow suit.

I just ordered from amazon. It noted the shipdate would be January of 2005. Perhaps this is a "feeler", seeing how popular the book might be. Also the publication date may be in error.

I have preordered books from amazon and gotten them within a few months.

Also, Sarah, by becoming more involved in NAMI, and finding my goal in life might be totally related to mental health. Also, inspired by Janine's enrollement in psychoanlytic studies, I am seriously thinking... down the road a bit about seeking a BA/MA in Psychology, for reasearch/advocacy purposes.

I already have a BA and MA from the same Uni... I can use basic credits, and possibly self study to get the BA, or work on the BA/MA simultaneously.

I'm a perpetual student, so what the Hey.

Well, it must be something in the air because I just posted my application to study Psychology Bsc (Hons) !!! I've already got a BA (Hons) that they said they could take credit points from too - despite the fact it was in Spatial Design!

I thought, well, if I'm going to spend this much time researching and learning and enjoying it, why not get a qualification for it? I don't know what I'd do with it, just see where it takes me. It's with Open University so I can take as long as I want to complete it.

Hooray for us wannabe head doctors! The lunatics WILL run the asylum...........

Good News, as Dreamer mentioned earlier! If you pre-order from Amazon, your book will be shipped in January 2005, NOT 2006! Thank goodness we only have to wait a few months rather than years. The 2006 publication date must be a misprint.
