I think The DP Manual itself is quite well respected, it's more the whole program format/business model that many don't like as a lot of people with mental health issues are on low income. I get the impression The DP Manual is one of the more affordable, but I don't know exactly. I think I heard here you can get your money back if it doesn't help (although I can't currently find mention of that on the website).I know that y'all treat The DP Manual as some kind of taboo mumbojumbo, buuuuuuut I really wish y'all didn't give it such a hard time because it made me hesitant to buy it. From now on: no opinions unless you bought and read the danged thing. we clear!!!
Listen up, ladies! I am using the SHIT outta the Manual. I super love it. He takes a very pragmatic approach to "curing" DP and the dude really knows his stuff. You can totally tell that so much of the Manual is rooted in true experience. And it's all very super calming and helpful imo. Like, the exercises are already helping me cognitively. There's a lotta content in that there Manual and i love that sumbitch. Owe him by life
not only O'connor says it, everyone know itI didn't think that I had anxiety--I thought that what I'm experiencing is dpdr without anxiety. However, my man O'Connor says that that isn't possible. That dpdr is a symptom of physical anxiety, even if you feel "calm." It's giving me hope; it seems more transient. I don't have panic attacks, but maybe this is my body's way of reporting and responding to danger (even though there is none)
