i'm on their program. can't tell you yet if it really works cuz i'm still DP. I can say that since I started it i sleep a whole lot better, and earlier this morning i felt reality for a good few hours too.

they claim the program takes a minimum of 3 months (eeek!), i've been on it for only 3-4 weeks. my doctor uses this lab all the time and says she's had "very excellent results." For me amino acids were the only acceptable alternative to popping SSRI's, and doing nothing wasn't an option sepecially when my results came back like this:

epinephrine is high (adrenaline, *very* high)
norepinephrine is elevated.
dopamine is suboptimal.
serotonin is low.
GABA is elevated.
PEA is defficient.

my poor brain is all whacked out. -rula

Here's a link for something I was looking into last year. This is the best natural neurotransmitter supplement I found on or offline. I spoke with this doctor on the phone last year- he seems to be a very kind, country doctor. He's done a whole lot of research regarding drug addicts and weaning them off of cocaine and heroine naturally, while cushioning their brains from damage. It has B vitamins, antioxidants, omega 3 fatty acids, lecithin, and the precursors to dopamine, norepinephrine, Gaba, and serotonin. He also has a website detailing diets he recommends for people recovering from specific addictions. I was trying to increase my available dopamine at the time, and followed the diet for recovering users of cocaine. It really helped my attention span and energy level quite a bit. Anyways, I tryed the drink, and although it tastes awful, you can feel it in about 15 minutes. Its pretty strong. Here's the link to his website "Addiction End" and his neurotransmitter restoration formula, Natural High:

wow, that's one long list of ingredients! glad it worked for you homeskooled. but in my case it wouldnt've been wise to take every possible amino acid without measuring my levels first...some of those aminos listed can increase epinerphrine and norepinephrine even more, then i'd be in more serious trouble than i already am! :)

We should have those tests in Canada!! It's unfair. It would be easy like a blood test for TH3. All is hard when we are broke and in Canada. I would like to know if my serotonin is low, my dopamine too high or my GABA messed up. I don't understand, even docs could target meds for patients, it would be great.
