You're not the only one to have these thoughts Pasha you're not unique in that regard. Sometimes, these things plague people for years. You're not psychotic or schizophrenic. You're just not. But even if you were, good for you. It's a lot easier to treat with medication than DPDR

The thoughts are still dpdr. Don't spend as much time looking up wierd and exotic mental disorders and worrying yourself about it. I've never even heard of a person developing psychosis and schizophrenia from dpdr. It's just not a thing

It's that old saying - if you think you're going mad, then you're not going mad. If you had psychosis/schizophrenia, there would be no question in your mind that your thoughts about reality were correct. The fact that you know something is wrong with the way you are thinking about reality, shows that your reality testing is intact. It's simply a problem with extreme anxiety, which is clearly causing you a great deal of suffering. Ask yourself what your greatest fears are. This is what is feeding your anxiety and causing you to dissociate so that you are separating yourself from your feelings. If you can't feel anymore then that is why nothing apart from your fears feel real.

its just dp and severe anxiety mixed with some obsessive thinking

if you were schizophrenic it would be different and you would have been diagnosed with it way earlier

but I do think that some of us including myself have some psychotc tendencies and that dp/dr has psychotic tendencies . I think psych problems are a range rather than clear cut stuff . but that shouldnt scare you nor make you sad . I actually took antipsychotics for a while . you are still you and you can not "lose your mind" or something

if you want I can give you a video where a psychologist also explains this
