Hi,

I have had the most awful 2, 2 and a half years of my life.

To make a long story short, I have been complaining of physical symptoms to the psychiatric center in Denmark.

I went to a doctor, they took some tests and couldn't find anything so they recommended i went to a therapist.

Now I got a therapist who says they don't know what the hell is wrong with me and because i complain mostly of physical symptoms, it is hard for them to pin-point what it is.

They say doctors deal with physical symptoms but the doctor tells me to go to a therapist and the therapist recommends me to go to a doctor.

I have severe brain fog, nausea, and a sense of an auto-pilot mode.

It's hard for me to think straight.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea (which i went and researched myself) but haven't got used to the machine. I can only sleep with it for 4 hours if i take a sleeping pill.

Most of the people i saw with sleep apnea, did not have the issues that i have.

Anyway I just don't know what this is.

The only thing my therapist says is that "there is a big controversy in what dp/dr is" and he doesn't seem to have any answers.

Do any of you mostly complain about the physical symptoms? Because that's what is mostly bothering me.

Any help or input is appreciated.

"officially " no. But when I was at my lowest point I went to psychiatrist and they said was anxiety and depression I told them that I have it 24/7 but that's what they said I tried meds for me made it worse I had crazy tremors and body on fire stutter insomnia and so on from meds had to stop at this point I'm not working can't stand to long my back is constantly hurting and everytime I go to my doctor she looks at me like I'm making this up and she says well we ran all the tests and here I am waiting for a miracle per say but good thing is the support from family I get tomorrow im going to another doctor to run different tests from allergies toxicity and again lyme sooner or later something has to show up im waiting for an internist for months. It's horrible to live with this clogged brain this whole thing since the beginning changed me from who I used to be and I miss my old self so much my thyroid levels go up and down so something is causing it but just don't know what. I'm taking vitamins and oil of oregano. Anything that helps. Did you get brainfog in the beginning of your dp?? Since my dp I barely remember things just bits and pieces :-(

It started out with nausea and out of feeling for me, and then gradually became full fledged. I had brain fog but it wasn't as bad in the beginning.

At least you are taking all kinds of test, my doctor took standard ones and then a brain mri and thats that - But i am going to a doctor on monday, my original gp is on vacation so i hope this doctor can take some other tests.

And if you do have dp and it's the only thing you have then probably other tests wont show positive.

Wish you the best.
