as far as i know, thc is the one that has psychotropic effects, while cbd counteracts those effects,
so cbd doesnt make you 'high'

CBD is antipsychotic. They even did a study with schizophrenics. it's been shown to counteract the effects of THC and protect the brain. We can't solidly make these claims yet as there aren't large double blind studies but they will come, and the preliminary evidence looks good

but there is still THC in it but in very very small amounts like lets say 0.1% . would that be enough/too much and cause trouble ?

if the cbd amount is higher than the thc, there shouldnt be any problem
(i cant tell from experience, but its what i've heard)

CBD oil is becoming more well known. I read a story recently in the local paper about a girl who had epilepsy who hasn't had any severe episodes since taking it regularly. Because it's not an officially recognized treatment her parents might have to take her out of school because the teachers there aren't allowed to give her the drops daily.

I actually saw a tv advert for CBD oil here in the UK where it was advertised at an affordable price, which must be good as the main issue for me was that it was very expensive.

Yeh the price is ridiculous. I can afford 500mg a month to vape, but the studies use 500mg in one day(!?) so I can only imagine the impact it would have on me if I could afford that much. Hopefully with time and more competition in the market and demand, it will become more affordable. I have already noticed a small decrease in price with more available brands. It helps me sleep with just a few puffs anyway, I can imagine it would kill anxiety dead at high doses, without the awful side effects/addiction of something like xanax

does smoking cbd strains have the same effect as vaping oil? i think its cheaper to smoke the bud directly, but i dont know if you get less cbd this way or if its the same...

I don't know really, but the ratio should be ideally 1:1 or higher on the CBD side. I would personally try weed with a much higher CBD level than THC, but THC itself is what causes DP I believe so care and research is needed I would say. It would most probably be a much cheaper and effective way of getting the CBD into the system than vaping though

Typical psychiatrist ???? of course they don’t recommend anything natural, they work with big pharma... but if you do try it, don’t get one high in thc, which for most ppl on this site caused their dp. Anything less than 0.4 thc won’t cause harmful effects. It helped me get off my medication. I want to try other brands of cbd if anyone wants to recommend a good one, thanks..

Felt a more relaxed, helped me when I was getting off my medication and didn't have really much withdrawal symptoms, sometimes I felt a bit normal, like visually things looked clearer and didn't have to question what I was looking at if that makes sense. But I was taking a 10mg capsules, I think I need to try a higher dose

CBD is legal, and non-psychoactive. It doesn't get you high. I'm very sensitive to THC and I used to vape CBD with no problems. Personally though I wouldn't take the advice above to smoke CBD strains of weed as the THC levels are still very high. Also it's not exactly a well-regulated industry in the UK so the reality is you don't know what you're getting.

While it is true that THC can cause psychosis, the amount of THC in CBD oil is so small that it isn't a risk. I understand your dilemma and it's understandable to feel frustrated. While your doctor may be a good doctor, it appears that he may not be up to date on the latest research concerning CBD oil.

I think your doctor may be misinformed about the effects of CBD oil. CBD oil is known to be a safe and natural supplement that has many potential health benefits. It is not known to cause psychosis and is generally considered to be non-psychoactive due to its low THC content. I suggest doing some more research and speaking to other doctors who may be more familiar with the product. Guys from devine boston have a wide selection of CBD oils with various concentrations of THC and other cannabinoids. They also provide educational resources about CBD, so you can get more informed about its effects and potential health benefits.
