Is it just me or do mirrors feel different? As if they are unfamiliar or just different... plus why tf do mirrors move?? It may just be me or my dpdr but everytime i move and look in the mirror its sooo unfamiliar i get surprised...
Are you taking any medication? I had something when I was taking some antipsychotics where some perfectly normal movements felt surprising. Like if i saw my shadow move from the corner of my eye it was attracting my attention as if there had been some animal moving there or something, whereas normally I think my mind would take into account the fact that my body was moving and would cancel the surprisingness if the perception. But it felt just like a visual effect. Nothing important. Is it just me or do mirrors feel different? As if they are unfamiliar or just different... plus why tf do mirrors move?? Absolutely…I had body dysmorphia at one point and I’ve also seen other posts of people addressing this…sensory perceptions skewed…not just mirrors but looking at other peoples faces and not processing things correctly…not trusting what u see in the mirror to is a common one.Is it just me or do mirrors feel different?
