In the past week or so I've gradually titrated up on Mirapex. Though in no ways does it actually reduce dissociation, it is literally the first drug I've taken (and I've taken over a dozen) that has "stabilized" me a bit. A lot of the chaos and overactiveness of dp/dr has been effectively flattened. It has basically turned me part zombie, but I welcome that with open arms. Being a bit slow in the brain and feeling knocked out for much of the day is a huge relief and much better than the alternative.

I've only been on it for a little while, so this may all change, but for now, I thought it would be interesting to share my experience. I don't really know why Mirapex has had this effect on me, as I associate it more with dopamine systems (pleasure, attention, arousal). Regardless, it is interesting and worth looking into.

I hope it will help you even more, and that the zombie state makes you relaxed for a long time so you can recover. Because DP/DR in most cases is a stress/ trauma response. Of the central nervous system it can be triggered in any way. Just like you by binging on drugs and alcohol was to much for your body and mind to handle and it shut off. That's my theory after having this for all these years. Good luck and stay strong
