Hi,

I don't know if mymedication is making me feel worse or if its just because my dissociation is so profound.

I am as possibly depersonalised with a total loss of identity as is possible.

I am 3 days into pregabalin.

Can anybody relate to feeling this way about medication? Is there any advice that people could offer?

Concerning pregabaline: No. At least the lowest dosage does not have this effect on me.

classic DP/DR, separated form self, blank mind, feeling like "I" am not "me".....!!

also got visual snow, depression, lack of drive and motivation and no inner monologue

Yeah, totally. I started Prozac and from the first few days I felt very 'out of it'. Completely depersonalized and derealized. Paxil did this too. I was taking the lowest possible dose! However, I saw people without dp also say they felt the same and it's only an initial side effect. I couldn't tolerate the feeling so I quit. Are you still taking Pregabalin?

i always read the first 2 weeks of medicine kinda makes u feel worse, but coming into week 3 or 4 u start to feel the positive side

Tried quite a few meds about 5 years ago and all of them made me feel worse, other people have had luck though so I would give it a month and see how it feels then...if you still feel like crap try a different one
