Whoever wrote that is exactly spot on and knows exactly what depersonalization is or whatever this hell is. That person knows how extremely terrible it is just by them saying you cant even feel nothing towards the nothingness. Its not even being numb bc numb is basically a feeling and this state has absolutely no feelings whatsover. Idk how much longer i can live like this. No core nonbeing no soul no identity. Just like that person wrote...how is this even possible?
How do you know this?!
Please don't be just saying this so I don't lose hope. Do you actually know who this is/if they actually recovered??

I still have the loss of the self. This has always been one of the worst symptoms for me. But I still haven't recovered from it. I can feel emotions again, but having trouble with deeper emotions. Used to have some lack of taste the first few years, but I think that's completely gone now.
I hate not knowing who I am, not being able to feel like myself. People have no idea how important your sense of self is and how much it affects your life.

He had an ongoing thread on another forum; I believe it was paxilprogress which no longer exists. I can't remember the exact details, but I remember him taking some supplements, and possibly having his hormones leveled out with the help of an endocrinologist. Either way, he definitely got better, against what he no doubt thought was impossible odds.
