Hi. Just joined this community. I'm a 22 year old jap canadian and I've have had DP for the past 11 months. But, I've only realized I had 2 months ago. I actually had the belief that I became fearless and assertive and I seriously fucked up my life and relationships. Guess i gotta fix that shit once I get out... Anyways, I've been researching DP a lot and combined with my past research on psych/neuroscience, I've come up with a daily routine. I'll split it up into exercise, diet, supplements, and misc.

Exercise

Every morning I do a 15 minute jog/run to the nearest park and do the "7 minute workout" and then jog back. I do this all while meditating on my heartbeat, breath, and muscle tensions. I also take walks around the neighborhood when I feel stressed out at home.

Supplements

10k IU Vitamin D

Rainbow One Men's Multivitamin

Omega 3 fish oil

Vitamin B12

Magnesium Chelate

Ashwagandha

Curcumin

Diet

Smoothie with:

30g hemp, chia , flax seed

Frozen mixed berries and mixed leafy greens

Fruit juice and milk

greens+

For food I usually eat whatever my mom makes or fast food prioritizing lean protein and avoiding added sugar/salt/trans fat

Miscellanious

NoFap

No netflix/youtube at home. Cut out internet at home so now I'm limited to forums/articles at home or else I'd eat up my monthly data in a single day. This change has made me get out of the house everyday for the past 4 days; usually to the library.

I'm avoiding socializing for now. My social skills and awareness is that of a 3 year old so I don't want to get embarrassed.

I don't take any drugs atm. I got a prescription for mirtazapine/remeron today and I'm planning to take it tonight. I have CBD oil coming in about 2 weeks. I've been experimenting with shrooms and phenibut but I'm done with that for now.

I bought the dp recovery integration method and it has been a pretty good learning experience. Once my memory improves and I feel more repersonalized, I plan on writing "as if" letters to my parents/bullies and my personal narrative of my life.

Do you guys have any thoughts/suggestions? What would you add/change from my list?

I went to the supplement store looking for magnesium citrate but they only had oxide and chelate so I went with that. Idk much about the bioavailability of magnesium but I think oxide is the lowest.

Sounds like you have a good routine. A couple things I would like add

-becareful on forums. There's a lot of negativity out there so try not to focus on that. Look up bignoknow on YouTube he's a good person to try and emulate and look up to.

- slowly try adding some friends back to your life. Even if it's just one or two people you really feel comfortable with. Socializing will help you get out of your head and thoughts. I have a good friend I work out with and grab dinner with once in awhile. It may be hard to do it in the beginning but slowly you'll appreciate it in the long run.

I forgot to add this

Try and find a hobby. What really helped me thru this is golf. It helps to shift your focus to something other than your DP. Try anything, drawing, video games, any sports. If it's something you can do with other people it's even better.

Good luck on your journey!
