Hallo Everyone

I have - gratefully and cautiously - been dp-free now for over a six weeks and THANKS AGAIN to everyone on these boards who helped get me through the last bout - special thanks to Janine, Terry, Martin, Sojourner and all the many people who pm'ed me durin the indescribably 'orrible state. Everyone with dp is in my thoughts and prayers most days.

I am back on the case with work - while trying to be careful and not overdo it thus driving myself back into dp-city - I am working with others on a London event which I thought might be of interest to you. In the past few years, I have founded a group called Mental Fight Club which officially launched in April and about which I have previously posted about on these boards. What is Mental Fight Club? Well we currently seem to describes ourselves as 'the latest creative force for good mental health in South London (and beyond)' which emerged from my lifelong experience of a severe bipolar depersonalisation disorder, amongst other things (If you want to find out more have a look at our website at http://www.into.org.uk/mentalfightclub)

We will be holding a gathering on the evening of Monday 28 November at a venue near London Bridge. Its for MFC members and their special guests, I consider anyone with dp as a special guest that I would like to invite, I would be honoured if any of you wished to attend or at least to find out more. So if you are curious, then just p.m me or even better, email me on [email protected] and we can go from there.

With Love and Strength to All Dp'ers

Vive le Mental Fight!

Hi Guys,

I really thought this was awesome. I think some of you UK'ers may have missed it because it was posted on Friday.

I think it is so awesome that people strike out and make their voices known for all of us.

Again, my best to you Sarah.

If any of you can make it, it would be great to know some people from our community support Sarah and her effort.

Thanks Terri.

Yes I would be truly delighted if anyone wished to attend this event. At the last one we held in April, there was one brave person who came to it having seen the post on this website. They seemed to enjoy it very much. For me it was wonderful to have a fellow dp-fighter there! Truly wonderful, particularly as depersonalisation featured as part of the creative presentation of this April event. (If it wasn't for the existence of the state-of-dp-non-existence, Mental Fight Club itself would not exist). And so, of course, dp will feature again in this Blakean event in November.

Let me know if you are interested.....

Vive le Mental Fight!

Much love to all
