Hello everyone,

I'm new to this board and even new to Depersonalization/Derealization. In my last therapy I was diagnosed with having Depersonalization/Derealization for quite some time (maybe chronic), but without knowing it's official name. I can't remember when it started. It basically manifests as the weird feeling life is not real, at least not in the present. When I think of my childhood or some events of that time, it feels suddenly very real, like I should be existing then and not now. It sometimes feels like the "now" is like a coma state or a dream.

Does anyone experience a similar thing like old days are so much more real/close than present days? And like the time inbetween doesn't really exist?

Thanks for reading

Cobra
