Im only a couple months into "living the dream".
All new comers are terrified.
First,most doctors dont recognise is.
Second, there's no clear treatement or cure
Third, its the hardest thing in the world to accept.
There could already be a post about this that i havnt found yet but...
Any tips on coming to terms with this from people that have already done so please.
Any kind of coping techniques or advice???
I think im just past the running back and forth to hispitals and docs getting multiple tests stage.

You are already giving up. I've had it longer than you and have gotten better.

Why? Because I did this to myself in the first place so now the only person that can fix this is me.

There are plenty of ppl that know what this is, including some doctors.

You need to research my freind. Use DP as your weapon, let it give you the motivation to find anything that can help.

Most importantly, give yourself the time an patience.

You will get better hunny, it just takes alot of time and patience, but don't put your life on hold. Just like when you get a cold, you know you'll get better and you just ride it out, same with this. This is just a symptom, it is not a life sentence. Go out, have fun, let your hair down because this can't hurt you at all. God I need to take my own advice, haha. :)
