Okay, four days of taking Lamictal and I'm itchy. I always pictured a rash as a red blotch that itched. But I have no blotches, I'm just really itchy.... especially my hands. Whenever I've gotten a rash in the past in turned red and was in a certain area. This is in several. I'm starting to freak out. I wonder if I should go to the ER? If you get a rash from this med it can be deadly!!

oh no now everytime I am itchy I will think I have this rash. :roll: (i am on lamictal too). I try not read about side effects...

Call your dr. and get in right away... if you are really concerned just go to the ER.

From what I have now read about this rash is that it is very very noticable. It isn't that you are just feeling itchy, the rash looks like blisters. Doesn't sound like you have it. However 10% of people who take lamictal do get a rash (but not the deadly one, that one is rare). Hope you are feeling better... good luck with the lamictal

I've heard of many meds giving you an itchy feeling. Even vitamin B3 can do so. Also, people with screwy nerves get this problem.

Ok, thanks guys. I'm not so itchy anymore. Maybe it was my nerves. They are definitely screwy.
