has anybody used this for their derealization and noticed that it made a big difference in relieving the dreamlike sensations and empty thought process that the disorder brings cuz my doctor prescribed this along with pristiq at a low dose as i have a history of tolerating meds as i get sensitive to them...just nervous on trying meds as ive been doing my best without them

Hey Kevin, I was put on this partly for my DP and partly postpartum anxiety hell. Honestly don’t feel it’s doing a thing. My doc plans on taking me off when I feel more stable (doesn’t want any withdrawal making things worse right now) but that’s just my experience

Effexor worked for me for a long time but it seemed to fizzle out. Trying cymbalta now which has been a little helpful. It sucks that mental health isn’t as easy to treat. It takes time to find out what works.

Hi Mkeshish... i was also 'recovered' with a ssri. But somehow it stopped working and my DR came back with slow steps... didn't think that was even possible !

Now im in doubt what to do next. Stay on the medicine and up my dossage? Maybe then it will help again.

Nomde, careful about the increase. My doctor just kept increasing and I think it had a bad effect! But your doc may be a lot better than the one who did that to me. It does seem that meds can stop working. Which is awful after finding something that had worked so long

absolutely you need to tiltrate gently when adjusting dosages with lamictal because of the sj rash you can develop which is rare, patience is key with increasing

I started on Aug 8, and misunderstood my Dr
I was only supposed to take 25 mg and I took 25 mg 2x a day like the bottle said. Well, yesterday morning, I got a rash so my Dr said to immediately stop and will restart in 2 weeks. I have to say for the 5 days I was on it, it's the best I have felt in a long time. Kind of bummed out but definitely trying again, maybe 12.5 mg to start

That's weird that he's going to make you go back on it.. I was on 25mg for like 10 days and got the rash too and stopped immediately. That means your allergic to it and the rash can be deadly if continued. Well, I guess just monitor yourself.
