Yes, my entire life would have been different. I feel that I would have been interested in the same things but slightly different. E.g. I was raised an Atheist and DP/DR opened me up to Spirituality. I was highly interested in Philosophy Pre-Dissociation, so I would have eventually delved into other paradigms... but not as far into things like new age that I have looked into while DP'd. Also I think about people I've known or made friends with or girlfriends too, all of which wouldn't have happened. I probably would have gotten back with one of my exes from high school, had a family and regular job. Idk what I would have done for work as I hadn't even given it thought before DP or around the time I had the breakdown that led to dissociation.
