Why just Jesus? Why not Mohammed or Shiva or the Buddha?
It is a matter of what message you really think is important. While these and other leaders, including Hitler, have spoken words of peace and unification, what comes with the whole package? Or do you pick and choose? There are a lot of clowns out there to sort through ...

Got deleted by our absent mods, which is shame because it showed a progression and came full circle.
It got resurrected !!! http://www.dpselfhelp.com/forum/index.php?/topic/35963-a-unified-theory/

Did you forget that those theories are based on a book? I'm not someone to bash someone for what they believe in, good for you if the bible or whatever helped you but still these ideas could cause someone who is really depressed or anxious to become obsessed with these sort of issues. You're not right, you can tell people about a book all you like but if i went around quoting 'Dora the explorer' books would you take me seriously? i don't think so, keep religion out of it.
How can you compare Dora the explorer to Gods word....Even though you might be suffering from a condition you and I should be thanking God that we are still alive and we have a chance to make tomorrow a brighter day. Don't take me the wrong way....hopefully God will reveal hisself to you the same way he did with me. God Bless

Because i can, like that's how i feel about you and your bible, it feels like someone's talking about dora the explorer or something, it's not real to me mate.
No problem, through love I pray that God is with you and he is. He is a merciful God that reigns on the just and the unjust. If you have any questions just ask me and I'll try my best to answer.

Jesus wouldn't want people to suffer with Depersonalization to begin with. Believe your books. Believe your stories. Believe in God. I have no problem with people who have faith. However it becomes a problem when people shove GOD in your face as the answer to all of your problems. It just isn't true. I've known plenty of people who are incredibly religious and they lead some of the most miserable lives that you could ever imagine. Family problems, financial difficulties..illness, loneliness, depression, etc. Not to mention that most Jesus freaks just seem plain wacky. Stopping people in parking lots and shoving pamplets in their faces. It's happened to me plenty of times. It is crystal clear to me that following God does not necessarily change anything for the better. Most times it doesn't do a damn thing.

Again, this is a Spiritual debate that belongs in that section. I reported this. Anyone can use the Report function and the bottom right of a post next to "Quote" etc.

Mods cannot spend hours reading all of this stuff. By hitting "report" something is flagged for a Mod to check out.
