Hi my name is Jacinta & I live in Australia. I was diagnosed with Depersonalisation Derealisation disorder last November after
about 40 years' I am now nearly 55. It is hard now to see that my Life has been much more but enormously tortuous-
It is bizarre for me that all the symptoms I experience actually are under the name of a specific illness.
I guess I also can see how DD' can & has been missed by many health professionals.

Yeah very many, i'd go far as saying 90% have not a clue. I had to educate my Psychiatrist on it, all of a sudden he says he knows about it... hmmmm. lol

Least you can get treatment now and you know what you are battling
