My life is still being made a misery by the fact I keep seeing several things more than once in a day. They can be rare things or totally innocuous things. The one thing they all have in common is that they are serving to make me think this isn't the real world.

So I thought I'd take a different approach. Ask people on here for lists of all the things they have seen more than once in a day to see if that helps me. Here is my list for today (I'll keep updating):

-Dreamt of a lambretta scooter last night, saw one the exact same colour today.
-Was in a shop and the assistant was showing a customer a 'sha lalala Lee t shirt'. The next shop I go in, that song was playing.
- The 8 of spades. (saw once today, but saw a few days ago so thought was worth mentioning)
- Carabaou.
- Vera Lynn.
- Wolverhampton.
- References to boohoo.com

Im sure there were more. But please if people could put down their lists, I would be so grateful!

It possibly has got to that point. But you have to excuse me for thinking something g weird is going on with some of the things that have happened.

For example I remember once going past a novotel hotel and thinking to myself how that will never be a thing that I'll see again that day, as I've never seen an advert for one. That night on my TV was the first and only time I have ever seen a novotel ad.

To me the logical conclusion now has to be some sort of magic, or psychic ability, which is crazy because in the real world, the real me would never think like that. But the real me is gone.

okay what. 1, just clearing it up that every animal has a concept of time. And 2, that was probably from a commercial for that energy drink and maybe one of their selling points was about not caring about time or something. Nothing magical is going on. Coincidences happen constantly and there's more you don't notice. However they mean nothing, information just parallels a lot.

Sorry for going on and on. Its hard enough that I'm not sure if I believe the world is real or not, and then these constant patterns keep happening further convincing me that I'm dead or in a dream.

Regarding the coincidences thing, let me present a hypothetical: suppose it were true that you could see things before they happen, or have these coincidences. Is it possible to view it as some kind of gift? What is it about the coincidences that you find disturbing? Does it make you question whether or not the external world is just a product of your mind?

nah nah i didn't mean to come off as aggressive. You're not annoying me or anyone here. I'm just trying to shoot down your thoughts because to me, they are completely illogical. Obviously to you they mean a lot and I understand that, but instead of dwelling on these intrusive thoughts try to combat them with reason. Just trying to shut them out won't do anything for you. Every time a coincidence pops up, try to come up with a way to prove it was just that, a coincidence, rather than some sign about reality or the future or whatever. Trust me you'll realize most of what you're thinking makes no sense.

With respect to your last post, a couple of points / questions:

1) how did you end up coming across this news story? Did it just pop up in a news feed? Were you searching for something?

2). Think about how many thoughts you have in a day / week / month (not to mention as DPers our thoughts tend to go all over the place). You are bound to come across things (signs, buildings, conversations, etc) that have some relation to something you were thinking about earlier in the day.
