It has become very apparent to me in the last few months that my dp gets MUCH worse during my period. I am wondering if other women experience this as well.

sorta embarassing eh? well I get mine every 2 months or so, and cramps are EXTREMELY bad. I roll in a ball and cry for hours in emmense pain waiting for pills to kick in

and dp gets a little weirder @ that time. I wouldnt say better or worse, just weirder

i'm pretty sure that the only reason i still have dp/dr, is because of my hormones. i only get dr for 2 weeks out of the month and i rarely have severe dr anymore. if i could just find some way of controlling my hormones my life would be sooooo much easier. i have endometriosis and i'm not sure if that messes my hormones up, or if my messed up hormones have given me endometriosis. i've never been helped by a doctor...like many of us on here. both of my diseases/disorders are so rare that doctors don't know a whole lot about them.

No, I don't notice any difference. agentcooper have you checked out the site http://www.fibroid101.com ? It correlates low level anxiety with inability to excrete xenoestrogens, resulting in endometriosis or fibroids (it's about half way down the main page). It says the anxiety causes the hormonal imbalance and suggests common causes of the anxiety.

This is interesting.
Does anybody have a theory?
Do guys have hormonal changes through the month?
I read somewhere that we do.
I don't think much or measure my dp like I used to.
I know that if I am tired or stressed, if I think about it it seems worse.
I notice big changes in women without dp who are having there periods.
It just must be that much worse if you have dp.

I just want someone to get a great big needle and inject stem cells into my brain and start all over again.
