Hello guys,
I was just wondering if you think that weed panic attack and post-traumatic stress disorder are the same? Post-traumatic stress disorder follows an even or series of events that are life threatening. The panic attack that follows smoking weed is a life-threatening experience too because the person feels during it that he/she is dead or about to die. In fact, the experience is scarier than being in a war zone especially that it could last for long time. Some people commit suicide to stop that kind of fear. Based on this, should not the treatment for the depersonalisation/derealisation that follows weed panic attack be the same as the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder? Any ideas?
Cheers!
