My DP/DR started 5 months or so when I got put on & off psych drugs & were my sleep pattern broke. I only have stage 1 sleep, I either dream or lie there unconscious. This has been happening for 5 months as well as the DP when my sleep was off for just a few days.

Anyway. My most concerning symptoms have been visual. From the 24/7 unfocused stare that I have read many talk about the most debilitating one is:

My eyes can only focus a small area. Like I have no panoramic focused view. I can only see some specks focused and the rest is just unfocused.

This got worse month by month. Like the radius/area I can see focused got less and less where I now feel that I can't get worse anymore or maybe it feels like it's still getting worse. I don't know.

Is this normal?

Nobody with similar issues?

I just stopped giving a shit about being in a permanent dream-like state for the last 5 months & find it almost funny after feeling like I'm going insane 24/7 before I finally found out I have DP/DR.

But that vision stuff really gets me as this was quite progressive.

My vision is 24/7 unfocused in a dazed state. My vision is super fuzzy, blurry, distorted, smudgy, I see floaters, and most likely much more. I think I understand your "no panoramic focused view", for me when I'm looking straight ahead I feel like my peripheral vision is almost non existent because my peripheral vision is very blurred out, fuzzy, and even more unfocused. I've also realized lately that when I try to visualize images in my head they also appear to be blurry, distorted, fuzzy, etc. Nevertheless what you describe sounds like symptoms a lot of us have.
