Hi guys ...


I have a question for you, I have DP, it started on April 1st, I feel so bad, it's like I'm in a dream, everything, everyone is not real and I, I think I am robot and my hands are not mine, I feel that I have third eye and I see everything with my third eye . İt's so difficult. I thought nofap would help but it didn't, when I did nofap I was getting worse..

Can anyone help me ?

There is help available but you do need to be patient.You are not alone but this condition is not as common or well known as many other mental health issues. From what I’ve researched, in most cases it is a temporary symptom that is often a symptom of prolonged depression or anxiety but is temporary and yes you can control it most of the time. Because of the isolation that Covid prevention has caused, more people are dealing with Mental health issues so there is less stigma than previously when asking or getting help. This forum is a good way to research the problem but also speak to a professional psychologist if possible. Talk to a close friend or family member about how you are feeling and have them research depersonalization disorder for better understanding. You didn’t always feel this way and you won’t always suffer from these feelings.

If you can afford private therapy go for it! I pay £40 every 2 week. Initially it was 1 session a week. Put some strategies in place with a therapist and you'll find a few that work. I've had it for approx 6 month now and I feel like I'm close to pulling myself out of this.
