Hello to all that is actually taking the time to read this. The virtual name is Thunderlordcid, or Travis if you wish, and this is a blog I'm in the process of making on how to deal with Depersonalization. Now first of all I wish to get into something before I go in depth as to why I want to make this blog. That something is the following:
This is not a guide on how to cure Depersonalization Disorder.
This is not intended to be that much of a personal blog, more along the lines of trying to help people live with this disorder
Please have a sense of humor
With that in mind I'll start to go into detail as to what I'll cover in this blog and why.
Like the title implies, the main point of this blog is about tips that may help someone to deal with derpersonalization disorder. This in no form is a recovery guide. The closest thing you're going to get to that is Tommygunz's "Read this if you want to Recover" guide posted in the Alternatives forum. The reason I'm not really going to cover on how to cure DP is because, in my honest opinion (which there will be a lot of being my personal blog,) there is no cure to it. There's only recovering from it. What that means is that I believe that the only thing we can do is set ourselves up to recover faster. I'll go into further detail in later blogs about that though. The second point I made is that this blog is not purposely going to be about me. I might add something personal every blog but the whole section isn't going to be "WELL, TODAY I WENT TO THE GROCERY STORE AND I WAS SOOOOOOO SPACED OUT, BLAH BLAH BLAH MEMEMEM" If you're actually taking the time to read through this then that means that you want something out of it, which hopefully I can give. The third part is please have a sense of humor. with that in mind please take the following test.
