So I've had DP/DR for about a year now..came from intense panic attacks due to testosterone usage. I've had this years ago but it went away. After a year, I am doing A LOT better.

But I get a weird headspace and sort of lose the sense of who I am. But I've noticed when I'm put into situations that can get my anxiety going, I sort of tune in with myself and feel like me 100% again.

Now I know this won't be popular, but weed also helps a lot. Weed starts making me think, sometimes causing slight discomfort but I feel normal of it. Just a small weed pen hit will have me back to myself oddly.

Anyone else feel the same?

It depends on what the anxiety inducing situation is, but yeah I agree. I have health anxiety, and sometimes I'm my most grounded when I'm freaking out about some ailment I might have. I think a lot of my DPDR is tied to my fear of DPDR, so refocusing that anxiety helps.
