I feel as if I'm going into a vegetative state where my mind no longer understands what the body feels. Like my sensations seem different or don't register correctly I don't really know how to explain it it's kind of like they're very very dull or like being covered and plastic so you don't really feel anything you touch and my body feels as if it's completely detached from my body like I have no control over anything my body does or my thoughts for that matter is this dp/dr?

This is a common sensation that many get. You aren't going vegetative! Many times, things like anxiety and stress can lead to the numbness of our senses. Being detached is a big symptom of depersonalization, so perhaps these two things have supplemented one another and is making you feel completely disconnected. I had this before and what helped me was trying to put my attention onto my senses. If I picked something up, I'd try to focus on the way it felt in my hand. Sometimes I'd even run my fingers along certain objects to make sure my sense of touch was being utilized.
