I've had DP/DR for a while without even realizing it until recently. It hasn't been to bad, but recently i've been having it pretty much all the time. It makes me feel like im dying or something, and it gets really bad when im in public or around people (specifically strangers) and I dont really know if this is normal or I should get help for it.
I talked to my therapist about it and I was told to use grounding techniques but they never work either.
It also seems to get worse when im sitting still or looking down, and also I can hardly sleep because of it. Another thing is focusing on something like reading small words makes it really bad.
I don't want to ignore it and it get bad but I also don't know if it's severe enough for any treatment of sorts, so I'm really confused
