I am so angry at medical support here in Canada! It's been many weeks since I wait for a call about a anxious clinic center, I faxed a letter from my psychiatrist, they didn't call yet.

I also wrote to a psychiarist specialised in anxious issues, describing my dp, he said to me before Chirstmas that I should schedule a appointment with him; I called 3 times, left 3 messages, no answer yet.

I also wrote to a psychologist who knows DP/DR : it's 90 $ a session, and I can't afford that. She says that I should see someone who knows about DP/DR (WHO!!!!!!MY God) and see him each week. She gave me phone numbers of hospitals, but again, I will have to explainmy problem to someone who don't have a clue.

I am so tired.

Sorry I am venting.

You are more likely to find a pig that can fly before you will find answers and validity from the medical community. Psychiatrists, what is the point? They don't give a rats arse about you and will only dish out more meds. Psychologists? I have been to many and not one knew a single thing about DP or DR. I am sure the ones that do charge alot, like you mentioned above. Sorry to be cynical Cynthia, but is the stress necessary? You have searched so hard with so few answers and it has got to be making your stress and DP worse. I honestly think you'd fare fine without the medical community.
