Remember, try not to worry. Things will get better, they always do... You gotta set your mind on change, and not worries
It was reeeeally bad last night. And I'm still feeling weird. I can't snap out of it. I'm at work, so I'm trying to act normal, but inside I'm freaking out.

I don't remember a lot of things also, and i know why.

I'm waking up and thinking about DP
I'm walking and thinking about DP
I'm talking and thinking about DP
I'm listening and thinking about DP
I'm drinkning and thinking about DP
I'm falling to sleep with thoughts about DP

get yourself checked out for DID. DP is a symptom of DID

Do you ever get confused and refer to yourself in the plural (we, us)

As to the thread about you hearing voices, do they sound like something you would say? Do you hear a voice tell you to do something as if you would tell yourself, but it wasnt actually you telling yourself it?

Im asking you this, because this is what i was going through, and once i realized it, the cure started.

Do you notice changes in your voice? Do you notice changes in yoru behavior?

Or perhaps it could be that youre focusing on DP and not on what is going on around you. Take it from me, I'll go into a lecture ruminating about something and walk out two hours later without any idea of what has just transpired. Both the ability to store and retrieve information are magically restored as soon as I stop worrying.

No attention = no memory of the event. Dont be so hard on yourself.

this worries me too. i panick if i cant remember things, makes me convinced i got alcziemers or something

guess if we try and relax , and not think too much, like nemesis says, it may help a little.
too much going on in our minds to retain anything???

Flowingly, I'm right there also.

I can't remember what I done on which day, I have trouble remembering what day it actually is.

I even have trouble remembering what I done earlier on on the day.

Coming from someone who depended on at least 6 pints a night every night for over year.... STOP the alcohol, you maybe given a benzo to help you with any withdrawal symptoms you may have.

I was in this problem myself, my psych. would not give me any Benzos but now, at my extreme height of DP/DR he has given me Lorazepam.

Its working wonders for keeping me calm and its kinda claering my thoughts yet my DP/DR is still extreme.
