Please help me. I know you are all going through this one way or the other. How is it possible to feel dead when you haven’t died. Where does consciousness travel to?

I can barely walk, talk or breathe. How is this possible????

You sound petrified, which is real common and a understandable reaction to dissociation. Im really sorry your currently going through this phase. Itll get easier, believe me. It definently does feel like your dead but stop feeding yourself thoughts about it. The more you wonder how you feel that way and why, the more it creates the sense that your experiancing something unimaginable and not normal and that theres no way out. Try the opposite approach in your thinking. Remind yourself your alive and that your consciousness hasnt gone anywhere. Your with it, always. And your body is always present, as is your environment. Tell yourself these thoughts everyday. Try being present in whats going on around you, itll be hard at first but itll help. Try things like the 3-3-3 anxiety rule. I really hope it gets easier for you! 🙏

I am like you, I feel like I died about 4 years ago, and now just an empty vessel with my memories scrambled like my life never happened and I never even existed.

I'm in the same place as you, it's terrifying, nothing feels right, or looks right or makes any sense.

It's as if you aware of reality has been pulled away and you exist only in moment.

I know how hard it is but it will get better, our brains just needed to escape for what ever reason and that's what it's doing.

If you ever need to vent or chat feel free to send me a message, albeit I'm a mess half the time but the other half happy to help :)
