I think that derealization is what's currently happening to me ... 4 days ago I I overreacted and stayed up all night crying over an issue and I woke up slightly derealized as usual when I don't sleep at all. Later that day I took a nap and woke up with weird eye sight I can hardly explain. It's like you go inside after being out in the sun. Visual snow/floaters follow all the time and everything is like an optic illusion. Bright objects seem dimmed, pages of a book, walls, screens. I know that this has nothing to do with my eyes and that it's another episode since I've had burning skin sensations these two days which happens to me due to this disorder but I'm really scared... it's like a nightmare. Anyone going through something like this?

A wise (movie character) man once said: "My philosophy is that worrying means you suffer twice."

That said...

I recommend that you look into Blue Light for your screen time. Even one can get Blue Light Lenses for Glasses

Yes its just DR, I have gotten used to the horrible visual symptoms of this hellish disorder. Light sensitivity, lack of depth, micropsia etc. Mild visual snow, severe floaters. I have to wear sunglasses most of the time, because there many many floaters swirling around my vision sometimes blocking my ability to see properly. It has gotten worse lately.

Yeah, DPDR has always impacted my vision greatly.
Floaters, light sensitivity, visual snow, ocular migraines and even permanently decreased visual acuity.
I wouldn't worry about it.
