Not to sound too negative but what is the difference between 'average importance' and 'little importance', given that the world has 7 billion people? Like above, we're all equally unimportant/important
Seems the most significant people are often so it a terrible way - you hear more about Hitler than about Mother Teresa. Perhaps it is just the media. Heard in a sales job that people remember a negative experience 7 times more readily than a positive one - what gives?
Most of us can affect only a small number of people who we are around - family, friends, … Which is fine - after all, if you can help just one person to feel/be better, isn't that worth something? It is ok to be little.
As far a 'unique', that is far different. Despite similarities there is a LOT of uniqueness going around.
