Hey! How long have you been experiencing this this time around? I've been on Zoloft for a few months and it hasn't directly helped the dpdr, but it has improved depression and anxiety, which in turn has helped the dpdr a bit. But it is by no means gone.
This isn't going to seem very helpful, but so many people on this site just ask 'how long until this is over?' And honestly there is no definite answer, everyone is different and everyone's dpdr is caused/maintained by different things. And I think the most important thing you can do for dpdr is no let it take over your life - try to stop worrying about it or obsessing with getting better, because it won't help. I spent almost a year doing that, with no improvement. You need to relax and try to fill your days with things that make you happy and will benefit you in the long run. Thinking about dpdr will only make you feel worse.
Also maybe it will take a bit longer until you feel any more effects from the paxil. It took a good month before I felt any improvement from Zoloft. Anyways, hope that helped. Explore some relaxation activities or exercises or whatever and try your best to let the stress go. I hope you feel better soon!
