Hi,

I AM SO SAD, my psy told me I have to conciliate the old me before delivery to the new one, and it will be long, IF it happens. IF IT HAPPENS.... Like I will stay like that all my life?????????

I can't stay like that! I want my old self, or recognizinf a bit of my old self!

I am so depressed. I am condamned.

Please tell me that it can go away.... I HATE this psy, I want hope, not someone who tells me I will stay like with no identity and pure terror every day of my fucking life! I can't.

Sorry about what your psych said....the things they say come accross stupid sometimes... turn the 'if it happens' into 'it can happen'...it may not happen to 100% level...but then it might...You have to trust your own feelings and confront your fears.....It's sooo frustrating when you get almost driven back to the drawing board of despair....One thing you could do I guess is take 10 things that made you feel you before the delivery and then things that you feel are you now....and things that cause you the most anger/fear/frustration now....Then you could kinda get some perspective on the differences? Sorry if this sounds really crappy....

In your situation i see it as this, there is a tunnel with 2 sides of it when you enter the tunnel the side you entered from closed and the only way you could get out is to go through it but right now you are stuck in the tunnel and your not moving forward. To get through the tunnel and out of it you (DP) you have to be strong, less complaining and less worrying. Take the necessery steps to get through it Cynthia, talkin about your problems through an internet forum isn't doing much for you except comfort maybe. Like they say actions speak louder than words, take care of yourself, good luck.
