Hi guys...just found this site.
Don't know a lot about this subject but is this site for people who suffer from depersonalization as well as derealization chronically? Otherwise (apparently) known as derealization/depersonalization disorder? I think i have it constantly and havent known life apart from it. There have been a few moments here and there where i felt actually connected, but it went away as quickly as it came. Very rare. Also, is everyone here experiencing depersonalization/derealization due to drug use? Because that is definitely not my story, and i want to make sure I am on the right page.
Thanks,
Chocolate

Hi Chocolate,

I have the exact same thing and symtomps. It’s not because of drug use but because off my heavy past. I think that there are some people on this forum who got it bc of drug use but some got it because off other reasons like us.

Thank you for your response. I feel so alone in this and haven't known anyone with this problem. When talking to mental health professionals, they recognized depersonalizarion/derealization as sonething that exists, but not as a chronic (constant) state of being. I feel scared and alone.
