Chyea, I have constant DP.. and it's slowly fading away (or becoming a part of me and not having such an affect on me), and I realized that my sense of humor (and a couple of my buddies who have DP/panic disorder) is based on the craziest most illogical nonsense ever.

For example.. we used to get stoned an say random things to make ourselves laugh like "Imagine Eric Estrada kicking your door down at 2 in the morning an waking you up with a bullhorn" Or "Derek Jeter calmly walked into a restaurant and punched a gigantic hole in the wall"

Is this common? ..or am I the only one who shares this sense of humor?

I think there is nothing better than crazy, illogical nonsense. And, if you have someone that shares that particular brand of humor it's a great plus. As an aside...I didn't think there was any other kind of humor when one was stoned. Or was that just me?

With my best friend I often felt like on acid. People didn't like us together, but I had a blast. We were always anxious and pissed off like a couple of teenagers and escaped to our own surreal world. That was the only time I ever felt like me.

Hilarious. :D
Oh my god no.

Some of my friends also have that effect on me: turning me into a crackhead. My absurdist blend of humor is more of the observational variety. I used to target the general public more often, but its becoming increasingly more difficult because of a little thing called AGORAPHOBIA.

I'm going to go smoke my last cig in a snowstorm...cooool 8)
