I dont know who else to ask besides everyone here. I've talked to my pediatrician when I had a physical in January and he said my heart was fine but all he did was check it with a stethoscope. I know it's common for people with anxiety to think they have heart problems but do these symptoms seem any differnt than anyones here? here are my symptoms

pounding heart-usually after i even walk up the stairs and sometimes if Im sitting down for a while and I get up even slowly my heart will start pounding
heart fluttering-I dont know what to call it but it usually happens when I am sitting down all the sudden it will start to beat really fast and I have to take a deep breathe for it to go away
dizzy spells and usually when they happen i feel faint.
swollen hands/feet
and if i cross my legs even for a short time my leg will almost fall asleep..it feels like i am not getting enough blood to them

i guess the symptoms dont sound that bad when I write them down but theyre so scary and im wondering if i have a heart problem ahh. i went to the e/n/t doctor and he said i might be getting dizzy because my ears were really err..clogged up. and i just had that physical and january but thats about it. do these problems sound normal? i plan on going to the doc soon but i still want to know if its normal. thanks

Hi Lauren,

I can relate to all. Besides what Ken posted, I would also suggest giving up any caffiene and if you smoke, as I did forever and loved it and miss them with a passion, try to at least cut down as they can also cause the heart flutters. Besides that, lots of water and limit sodium intake. We females soak up and bloat up like sponges. :D It's a wonderful life, ain't it?

Take care and relax,

It will help calm your mind if you have more in-depth testing. Certainly won't hurt. Glad to hear you're living such a healthy lifestyle. Wish I had done and known better. :)

Good Luck to you Lauren,
