is there anyone who's tried the linden method? is there anyone who's come out of this completely with or without the linden method? i don't wanna be one of these people who are in dr/dp for years and years.

I actually just searched this whole section because I new I remebered finding this here. Don't wast your money, here are the "nine pillars" as posted by one of our own..

1. Don't visit practictioners
2. Withdraw from medication
3. Stop finding out about anxiety/panic attacks
4. Only follow the Linden Method (! convenient eh?)
5. Don't talk about your condition - and that includes on bulletin boards like this.
6. Stop leaning on other people
7. Forget about your condition
8. Practice diversion techniques - such as taking up a hobby (!)
9. Don't accomodate your anxiety

Nothing new.

was this posted by another dp suffer then? the thing about the linden method is that it's got a 97% sucsess rating AND they offer your money back AND they're based in the uk making it a f--- load easier for me to get in contact etc. etc. I must be a desperate man if i'm willing to pay ?107 to stop thinking about something.

No, I've never paid for the Linden cure. You do have the advantage of living in the UK cuz I hear it takes 6 weeks for the package to arrive in the US, and I read (on another msg board) that you'll never really get your money back.

That said, I really think the advice in the 9 pillars is pretty solid; distract yourself, don't think about it, don't spend all day on boards like this one that keep your mind focused on your dp...in summary, "focus outwards". and you got that here for free. :wink:

Linden method operation started in Sarasota, Florida. That guy's been around for a long time and he's cashing in on people who are a little vulnerable. Save your money. The website looks like an ad for some network marketing gimmick...STOP...READ FIRST...BELIEVE ME...GUARANTEED
