Reading a book titled "Genome" when I came across an interesting concept. Stress can cause genes to switch off. Most genes create proteins that are responsible for chemicals that control
bodily functions..This is how something psychological can become physical. I wonder if this process is taking place when people describe having a severe panic attack followed by the onset of dp/dr within a
few days. It might take 2 or 3 days for your body to deplete the reserves of a particular chemical,hormone, or other product of the genes. If the genes for a particular process have been turned off,
then you are thereafter operating under a set of new parameters. Its a brave new world out there.
