yesterday i was driving with my son and we were looking at all the old houses i used to live in, then all of a sudden i forgot where i live and what my house looked like...it just happened for a split second, maby 2, but for the life of my i couldnt remember....then it came back to me......it scared me alot and i keep feeling like i have to repeat in my head where i live etc afraid that it will happen again. Does this mean i am going to forget everthing? Or was it becaue i was reminicing on old times that i momentarily forgot where i was

I have totally had this! Its so weird! I get it when I'm remembering something that happened at one of my old houses and then can't picture the house I live in now! Ive had it a few times. I wonder if it is due to dp related stuff. Although, like Lauren says, when you try to remember something you can't. For instance, someone asked me the other day who played Clarice Starling in Silence of the Lambs. Couldnt rememmber for the life of me Jodie Foster's name. Its funny cos if you ask the people with you, they immediately forget too and everyone sits there going 'damn it. its on the tip of my tongue'. I've been walking down stairs and suddenly sort of misjudged the next step like my brain 'forgot' how to tackle steps...and that's only after 1 bottle of whisky....kidding
