Now I have learnt a little, I would like to ask you all a question.

Do you find watching films strange? I find it hard to let go of a film, particuarly horror films, or ones that shock me. The reasons for this are pretty obvious - must be something to do with DP. Although I've alwyas found it easy to get engrossed in books if I like the story. Also the 'weird' or macabre has always fascinated me, but in an uncomfortable way.

Hmmm, this turned out to be a bit of ramble. I'm sorry - but please answer the original question!

Sometimes, but only because the dp makes me feel strange not the film as such. I do find that I am desensitised sometimes though from otherwise shocking or horrible imagery to the extent that it fails to make an profound emotional impact, probably due to the numbing effect of dp, I also find it harder to follow stories when my dp is bad, I usually just have to lie down for a long time and let it wash over me.
