Yeah I can totally relate to that Shadowness
The strange distorion of sigh perception...
When the only thing that exist is your eyes...
I hate this too...

My only coping trick is to relax...sorry =)
Or maybe driving...it'll get your concentration back up front...
Have you noticed if you move too fast or are exhausted it might get worst ?

i dont know how to advice you on how to get over this one as i suffer from it myself......its as if its not you seeing things because you are detached from them....like none of it has a meaning....and we are just observers to life...the living dead...all thoughts...and actions that dont make sense.....but we know that these are what are causing us so much anguish and somehow we have to train ourselves to stop pinpointing what bits the worst symptom at the moment...the more we focus on them the worse they feel.....and i know with sight its something that is there permantley[unless u go blind] and we wouldnt want to live without it,just think how how dark and lonley that place would be......i imagine dped and blind is not a right good combination....

....sorry i am starting to talk crap....but i hope some of it helps :D

hi shadowness

i too feel like i am just a pair of eyes. When i am walking outside it feels like everything is speeding past me. Today when i was out it was really disturbing me and i had to keep stopping. I found that if i slowed down a bit and tried to focus on certain things in the street that were close to me it seemed better...eg i would stare at a spot on the pavement for a few seconds until i felt i could see it normally. Usually this doesnt work but today i felt that i could see things semi-normal if i stared at it for long enough. Although it helped a little, when i continued walking it was still the same. I'd suggest just slowing down and try to observe everything that is going on round about. MAybe this makes no sense but today it worked for me...maybe not tommorrow though.. Just when i think my dp might be disappearing it hits me hard and becomes worse than ever.
