do you guys feel pain to your body if you like bump your knee or kick your foot on something really hard, when i do that i feel nothing, no pain. if i pinch myself i barely feel it, if i punch something it doesn't hurt my hand, like if i punch the wall. it sux so much. i have a hairy arm kinda and i pull the hairs out of it and it doesn't hurt at all. that is defintely not normal, is this all part of dp, i'm confused. how come other people can feel their bodies and feel pain and i don't.

wow this is horrible, i'm watching the knicks game on tv, i used to be a fanatic, very passionate about the team with a lot of excitement and interest in them, but when i was watching i had no passion excitement nothing, no feelings toward them, even if i try, its really sad it has came to where i don't enjoy my favorite team i have watched since i was like 10. just horrible.

i don't enjoy basketball anymore because i can't even follow it. it just doesn't comprehend in my mind anymore, actually i don't understand anything i see or hear. everything i see or hear isn't interesting anymore. i can't believe i have gotten to this stage. i can't live not loving the knicks or basketball or listening to music anymore. so lost.

I've punched one or two holes in plaster walls (usually upon arising from bed on a morning that I had no sleep on the previous night). And my own hand feels so remote from me (like all the rest of me) that my only real concern is not getting bloodstains on anything. (That and having another hole to patch, lol.)

So yeah, this symptom I can definitely relate to.

I look at wounds on my own body pretty much the same way I'd look at some broken item that was totally separate from myself.

So far I haven't bled to death, knock on wood.
