Has anyone had any luck with excersise as relief for symptoms? If yes do you find it helps in the short term as well as long term? I know it can help with anxiety and depression, I’m wondering if it has helped you with Derealization symptoms specifically...

I find that it definitely helps in the short term cos the pain is all I can think about. Also good bc there are people at gym that u can chat with if you want. I guess I have felt better the past couple of days just exercising & cutting out the crap from my diet. It's a good thing to focus on if you want to get into shape I guess so yeah it probably reduces the severity of the symptoms

WALKING...In my opinion its by far the best form of exercise...Especially walking in nature...An old native american friend of mine once told me to walk under trees and beside water....Its healing, relaxing, distracting and calming....She was so right...I got rid of my car way back and now use my two legs to get around everywhere...The difference it makes is huge...

I always found intense cardio vascular exercise (running etc) increased my adrenalin rates which increased my heart rate and hence my panic rates...That was just my experience though...

I just find walking (at a slight pace) to be so therapeutic....

To be honest though if you dont improve your diet a bit too your wasting your time...I cut out sugar and take outs a while back and it is helping so much with my all round sense of well being....It hasnt cured my DP by a long shot but its making me feel better about who I am and my energy levels are better too...I must also say that my sleeping has improved too since I cut out the sugar...
