For those of you who suffer from emotional blunting, do you believe depression is the culprit or is it a separate dp/dr symptom? I suffer from both depression (secondary...due to the dp/dr) and a complete feeling of apathy. But this apathy doesn't feel quite like a depressed 'oh what's the point of doing anything' feeling. It just feels like a deadness inside of me that is unshakeable.

There's a spectrum of symptoms, just like there's a spectrum of electromagnetic radiation.

I don't k now what causes it - either dp/dr or depression - but I can relate to the deadness, that is what I have, a kind of void dead space, on balance I think it is part of the dp/dr but it also makes me feel continually depressed.
