Exercise always made me feel worse...For some odd reason...Its supposed to improve mental health...
Work (im an electrician) used to have both effects...sometimes it made me worse and sometimes it really helps...
Diet never did squat either way....The reason being I cant eat when Im really feeling bad...
Strange TV shows have a negative effect on me so I avoid them...The news makes me really miserable so I totally avoid that...In fact watching the news is said to be the worst way to start your day...
The laptop really does help distract me...Especially when Im researching stuff of interest regarding my fish keeping hobby etc...
I find to really distract your self you have to be doing something you truly love...
SO! find your passion in life and pursue it....Easier said then done though when you are in the throws of chronic DP...BUT when you do feel better exercise the muscle that is your brain with positive interesting stuff...Stay away from negative mind numbing crap...
