Everyone’s capacity is different and can only tolerate so much. I wouldn’t suggest school unless someone has the willpower to do so because then they’ll just be setting themselves up for failure. However, I recently graduated with my Masters and from the beginning of the program I had dp, worked full time and 2 yrs later, I still have it not as bad but I still have other symptoms dp related and non dpdr related. It was uncomfortable but yes, I pushed myself and had the mental capacity to do so, with that being said it’s not a cure all. I’ve always been a busy body so that’s just my personality to not stay home.
