Sorry for another post so soon, but I have to write about it -

My most recent bought with DP/DR has been going on now for about 6-7 weeks. It's never been this bad.

I haven't left my home area since. This weekend, I have to drive to Vermont (6 hour drive) for a wedding. I have so much anxiety leading up to this. My girlfriend will be with me (she knows about the DP/DR and is very supportive).

I am nervous for the drive, and nervous being away from home (that whole "no safe place" issue).

What can I do to help relax besides taking Ativan?

perhaps your girlfriend should drive. whenever i'm feeling like that, i have someone else drive (if there's someone else with me).
