I can't watch tv anymore because it feels like everything is moving unnaturally fast, like the scene cuts seem too quick and people's movements seem too fast or unnatural. It's not just TV either, its my phone and I feel like my own movements are too fast. It's causing me headaches and nausea and I feel completely miserable, TV and phone were basically my last escapes and now it seems I can't even do that.

Hey friend!

I've had my symptoms for several years and I can say I have had similar experiences with sound. Here's is a link to a potentially useful topic, Alice In Wonderland syndrome. It can affect time/perception, maybe it could be a stepping stone to other research topics.

Sometimes focusing in on the tv too much is for me; my attention can be drawn very powerfully. However, I can't say I know your symptoms to be exclusive to DP/DR. I would visit a psychiatrist if you aren't already, and continue seeking answers. I hope others will add their input here, as you are most likely not alone. Stay stong!!
